Defect log

Every problem recorded against a release we ship — in its image, its build kit or its documentation, or in the upstream project — and what happened to it. Before a release ships, automated review rounds, run separately from the writing, check its handbooks and records against the exact image; what they find is fixed and logged here, so most entries are already fixed in the release you get.

Severity is the rating a defect was given when it was found: Critical is the most serious, such as a documented backup or restore step that fails when it is run, then Major and Minor. Choose a severity above the table to see only those. The date is when the defect was logged here.

Vulnerabilities (CVEs) are reported per release in its security report and on its product listing; a CVE appears here only when a defect was filed for it.
